Ibadan Southwest APC Aspirants Rally Behind Tolani Adigun, Ado, Tinubu, Alli, Others, Close Ranks Ahead of General Elections

In a renewed push to strengthen the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the forthcoming 2027 general elections, party leaders, aspirants, and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ibadan Southwest Local Government on Tuesday held a strategic reconciliation meeting aimed at fostering unity and ensuring victory for all APC candidates, with aspirants rallying behind Hon. Tolani Adigun and Hon. Taiwo Okunlola Ado, the party’s House of Assembly candidates for Ibadan Southwest Constituencies I and II, while others who contested with them also pledged support.
The meeting brought together the APC assembly candidates, Hon. Tolani Adigun and Hon. Taiwo Okunlola Ado, alongside the party’s House of Assembly candidates for Ibadan Southwest Constituencies I and II, as well as key stakeholders.
The gathering focused on closing ranks among party members, reconciling aggrieved aspirants, and strengthening internal cohesion as the APC intensifies preparations for the general elections.
Addressing participants, party leaders emphasized that unity remains the foundation for electoral success, urging all aspirants and supporters to set aside personal interests and work collectively for the progress of the party.
Members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors also met with aspirants from both state constituencies to promote reconciliation and chart a common path toward delivering overwhelming victories for the APC across the local government.
The stakeholders reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, Senator Sarafadeen Alli, the party’s governorship candidate, as well as all APC candidates contesting the senatorial, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly.
Participants expressed optimism that the renewed spirit of unity and cooperation within the party would translate into electoral success, noting that collective commitment and coordinated grassroots mobilization remain essential to achieving the APC’s objectives.
The meeting concluded with a pledge by party leaders, aspirants, and members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to sustain the reconciliation process and work as one united family in the overall interest of the All Progressives Congress.
