Akala Celebrates Rescue of Oriire Pupils, Teachers, Applauds Tinubu, Soun’s Leadership, Hails Security Agencies

Olamijuwonlo Ayodeji Alao-Akala, member representing Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has expressed profound gratitude to God following the safe rescue of the pupils and teachers abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Friday, Alao-Akala described the successful rescue of the victims as a moment of relief and thanksgiving for the people of Oriire, Ogbomoso and Oyo State at large.
The federal lawmaker commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for what he described as decisive leadership and unwavering commitment to the security and welfare of Nigerians, noting that the President’s intervention and support played a crucial role in the successful outcome of the rescue operation.
Alao-Akala also lauded the National Security Adviser, the Chief of Staff to the President, the Nigerian Armed Forces, and other security and intelligence agencies for their professionalism, dedication and sacrifices in securing the release of the victims.
According to him, the people of Oriire Local Government remain deeply grateful to all those involved in bringing the abducted pupils and teachers back home safely.
The lawmaker further acknowledged the role played by the Soun of Ogbomosoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Orumogege III, whose leadership, support and commitment throughout the period of uncertainty provided hope and reassurance to affected families and members of the community.
He equally appreciated religious leaders, traditional rulers, community leaders, associates, media practitioners and Nigerians from different walks of life who offered prayers, support and solidarity during the difficult period.
Alao-Akala noted that the safe return of the victims represents not only a victory for the affected families but also a triumph of hope, unity and collective resolve over fear and adversity.
He called on citizens to continue supporting efforts aimed at strengthening security across communities and safeguarding the lives of Nigerians, while expressing hope that such incidents would never recur.
The lawmaker prayed for lasting peace, security and prosperity in Ogbomoso, Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole, while urging residents to remain united in the pursuit of a safer and more secure society.
