Oyo Assembly Hopeful Tolani Adigun Salutes Fathers, Praises Their Sacrifices on Father’s Day
Ibadan, Oyo State – The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ibadan South-West Constituency I in the forthcoming Oyo State House of Assembly election, Hon. Tolani Adigun, has felicitated fathers across Oyo State and particularly those in Ibadan South-West Constituency I on the occasion of the 2026 Father’s Day celebration.
In a statement issued on Sunday, hon. Tolani described fathers as the bedrock of the family institution, whose sacrifices, guidance, and unwavering commitment continue to shape responsible homes and a progressive society.
She noted that despite prevailing economic and social challenges, many fathers continue to make enormous sacrifices to provide for their families, nurture their children, and contribute meaningfully to community development.
According to her, “Father’s Day is a special occasion to appreciate the dedication, resilience, and selfless service of fathers who work tirelessly to ensure the well-being of their families and the advancement of society. Their roles as providers, mentors, and leaders remain invaluable.”
The Ibadan South-West Constituency I candidate ucommended fathers across the constituency for their commitment to raising responsible children and promoting values of integrity, discipline, and hard work.
She urged parents and guardians to continue serving as positive role models to the younger generation, emphasizing that strong family values remain essential to building a prosperous and peaceful society.
Tolani also offered prayers for God’s continued guidance, protection, strength, and good health for fathers across the state, asking that their sacrifices be rewarded with greater blessings and fulfillment.
