Oriire 2027: Bamigboye Abidoye Receives Rousing Reception in Adafila, Seeks Residents’ Support for Assembly Return

It was a gathering of members, political leaders, youths, women, elders and other well-wishers in Adafila, Oriire Local Government Area, as residents celebrated Hon. Bamigboye Abidoye during his community engagement.

The engagement provided an opportunity for residents to express their appreciation for his previous contributions to the development of Oriire Local Government, with many describing him as a familiar face in grassroots leadership and political representation.

Speaking at the gathering, Hon. Bamigboye Abidoye appreciated the people of Adafila and the entire Oriire Local Government for their continued love, loyalty and support over the years.

He also reflected on his previous public service, highlighting his tenure as Local Government Chairman and his representation of Oriire at the Oyo State House of Assembly, where he said he remained committed to advancing the interests of his constituents.

He urged residents to renew their support ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing his intention to contest for the Oriire State Constituency seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

According to him, his ambition is driven by a desire to continue contributing to the development of the local government and ensure that the concerns of communities across Oriire receive adequate attention.

Residents from different communities, including elders and youths, also spoke at the event, recalling his previous leadership experiences and expressing their views on his proposed return to the State Assembly.
The engagement celebration, which brought together people from different walks of life, also provided an opportunity for political interaction and discussions about the 2027 electoral season in Oriire.
