Governor Seyi Makinde: Agbako Ma De!

It was one of Awolowo’s close ally who once said that the insanity of a rich man is not always readily ascertainable.

He said if a rich man puts on twenty Agbada gowns at the same time, people would say he was doing whatever pleases him, whereas, he is suffering from insanity.

This morning, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, the Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up to look into the abduction of Teachers and Pupils of Yawota and Esinele communities of Oriire Local Government of Oyo state submitted its reports to Governor Seyi Makinde.

Sadly, Governor Makinde chose a moment that is supposed to be conducted under an atmosphere of solemnity and sober reflections to throw political jabs at a president who has never considered him worthy of giving his attention.

Governor Makinde used the occasion to call on the president to rescue the 40 Borno children allegedly abducted on the same day the victims of Oriire Communities were abducted.

Inside of him, the Governor must have thought that he was throwing a jab at a political opponent, whereas and sadly for him, he is exposing himself as someone who is lacking in empathy and insensitive to the pains of the abducted children in Borno and their loved ones. After listening to him, I asked myself, is this the man who wants to reset Nigeria?

Before today, has Governor Makinde ever mentioned anything about those who were allegedly abducted in Borno?

Has he ever comistrated with the Government of Borno and the families of the abducted victims, he been a presidential candidate whose agenda is to reset the country?

I read a report recently that students in both Communities of Yawota and Esinele have refused to go back to the classrooms.

Governor Seyi Makinde could not use today’s occasion to appeal to those Communities to join hands with his Government to ensure that the children around those Communities return to the classrooms.

It’s obvious that he doesn’t and has never cared about whatever became of those hapless children.

It is now also obvious that Governor Makinde would rather be happy if those children, the teachers and everyone in captivity all over Nigeria remain in captivity so that he would have materials to satisfy his sadistic political narrative.

How wicked!

I have been saying it over and over, this man, Governor Seyi Makinde needs rest.

There is a limit to the weight of worries the human mind can accommodate. If the weight gets too much, the mind would begin to malfunction and it will definitely affect every sensitive organs of the body.

It doesn’t appear like all is well at all.

Governor Makinde’s insatiable urge to turn everything to bitter politics is not only becoming legendary, it should be a source for serious worries amongst his admirers, if they truly love him. ( Ewo ni ka maa wi iru, ki Gomina maa wiru?)

I have been keeping my gunpowder dry for the time the report of the Commission of Inquiry would be made public and I am surprised that Governor Seyi Makinde is saying certain aspects of the report would be kept secret! Why?

What is the meaning of that? So, if the International Community had acceded to his bizarre call for an investigation, would he be asking them to make their reports secret?

That statement smacks of an attempt at cover up some information and as someone who submitted a Memorandum and defended same before the Commission, I will ensure that the report is fully made public, even, if it entails going to court to compel Governor Seyi Makinde.

I thought he was so sure that something was not normal about the abduction and the rescue operation and that the Federal Government was hiding something?

So, is this all Governor Makinde would achieve through the Commission of Inquiry despite all the noise and insults?

Shame! Big shame!!

If the Governor were to be my biological brother, honestly, at this point, I would be recommending a general check up.

Is The Governor of Oyo state depriving Judges of their privileges?

I have been working on a disturbing information affecting the welfare of Judges in Oyo state for some time now.

I took interest in the matter because those involved are legally and ethically bound to remain silent even in the face of denial of their privileges.

Judges can not protest. They can not embark on a strike action. No matter what they go through, they are bound, by oath, to remain unheard.

It has been alleged that Governor Seyi Makinde is owing all the Judges in Oyo state their accomodations allowance from 2024 to date.

Not only that, the Government of Oyo state is also, allegedly owing the Judges their vacation allowances for 2026.

According to my findings, Government had signed the approval for the payment of their vacation allowances since August, 2026, but there is no cash back up till date.

This is unfortunate and condemnable, if it is so.

You will recollect that there was a time in the past when I reported that some Judges in Oyo state were allegedly being harassed by a Motor Dealer because Government didn’t fulfill its obligations to the Motor Dealer.

Like I said, Judges must be treated with utmost respect and their dignity preserved by appropriate Authorities.

There is no Constitutional provisions for them to fight for their privileges and therefore, Government shouldn’t take advantage of that to punish them by not doing the right thing at the right time.

I urge the Attorney general of Oyo state and Commissioner for Justice to immediately look into this matter and appeal to the Governor to do the right thing with immediate effect.

I definitely will continue to monitor developments around this story.
