International Youth Day: Hon. Olusayo ‘Bibiire’ Urges Greater Youth Participation in Governance

As the world marks International Youth Day, Hon. Olusayo Bibiire, a prominent political voice from Ogbomoso South, has joined Nigerians in celebrating the energy, resilience and potential of young people across the country.

In his message commemorating the day, Hon. Bibiire described youths as not merely the leaders of tomorrow, but active stakeholders in the development and governance of society today.

He stressed the importance of investing in young people through quality education, skills development, entrepreneurship and meaningful opportunities to participate in governance and decision-making.

According to him, “A nation that invests in its young people is investing in its future. Our youths must be given the opportunity, support and confidence to contribute meaningfully to the progress of our communities and our country.”

Hon. Bibiire also called for greater inclusion of young people, particularly in political leadership and community development, urging youths to acquire knowledge, build their capacity and take an active interest in the affairs of their communities and nation.

He further encouraged political and community leaders to create an enabling environment where young people can thrive and translate their talents and ideas into meaningful impact.

As a stakeholder from Ogbomoso South, Hon. Bibiire reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote youth empowerment, education, inclusion and sustainable development.

He congratulated Nigerian youths on the occasion of International Youth Day, urging them to remain purposeful, engaged and committed to building a better future.

“The future belongs to those who prepare for it, but the present belongs to those who are willing to shape it. Let us rise, participate and build the Nigeria we desire.”
