2027: Tolani Adigun Meets Ibadan Southwest I Leaders, Declares Intention to Contest for State Assembly


An aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly in Ibadan Southwest I Constituency, Hon. Tolani Adigun, has formally declared her intention to contest in the 2027 general elections.
Hon. Tolani made her declaration during a meeting with leaders and key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan Southwest I, where she sought their support, guidance, and prayers ahead of the party’s nomination process.
Describing the visit as a moment of deep reflection and renewed commitment to public service, Hon. Tolani said her aspiration is driven by a desire to offer purposeful and people-centered representation to the constituency.
She noted that effective leadership requires collaboration with party elders and grassroots stakeholders, emphasizing that consultation remains a vital step in strengthening party unity and building consensus.
“I have come to seek your blessings and support as I take this bold step to represent our people,” she said. “With unity, dedication, and integrity, we can secure the APC ticket and ultimately deliver quality representation that reflects the true aspirations of Ibadan Southwest I.”
Party leaders at the meeting commended her for adopting a consultative approach and encouraged peaceful engagement as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of 2027.
