Ibadan North-West Local Government APC stalwart, Hon. Adams Adebayo, has extended heartfelt felicitations to the Christian community and residents of Ibadan North-West, Oyo State, and Nigerians at large on the occasion of the 2025 Christmas celebration.
In a goodwill message made available to the press on Wednesday, Hon. Adebayo described Christmas as a season that embodies love, sacrifice, hope, and peaceful coexistence, urging Nigerians to reflect deeply on the values symbolised by the birth of Jesus Christ.
According to him, the celebration presents a unique opportunity for individuals and communities to renew their commitment to unity, compassion, and service to humanity, irrespective of religious, ethnic, or political differences.
“Christmas reminds us of the virtues of love, humility, and selfless service. As we celebrate, I urge us all to embrace peace, tolerance, and mutual understanding as we continue to build a stronger and more united society,” he said.
Hon. Adebayo also called on residents of Ibadan North-West and Nigerians generally to use the festive season to strengthen family bonds, extend kindness to the less privileged, and pray for the continued peace, security, and prosperity of Oyo State and the nation.
He commended the resilience of Nigerians in the face of prevailing socio-economic challenges, expressing optimism that with collective effort and responsible leadership, the country would witness renewed growth and development.
While wishing Christians a joyful and fulfilling Christmas celebration, the APC stalwart prayed for a peaceful New Year filled with renewed hope, progress, and divine guidance for all Nigerians.
