Posthumous Birthday: Hon. Tolani Adigun Remembers Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi at 76

Hon. Tolani Adigun, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ibadan Southwest Constituency I, has joined family members, party faithful, and well-wishers across Oyo State and Nigeria to commemorate the 76th posthumous birthday of the late former Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi.

In a heartfelt tribute, Hon. Adigun described the late statesman as a visionary leader whose life was dedicated to public service, discipline, and purposeful governance. She noted that although Senator Ajimobi is no longer physically present, his ideals, policies, and contributions to governance continue to shape Oyo State and inspire generations of leaders.

According to her, Senator Ajimobi’s tenure marked a defining era in the history of the state, as he laid a solid foundation for peace, infrastructural renewal, and institutional reform. His commitment to orderliness, development, and progressive politics, she said, earned him a lasting place in the hearts of the people.

“Senator Abiola Ajimobi was more than a leader; he was a builder of systems and a firm believer in a better Oyo State. His legacy of excellence, courage, and service remains indelible,” Hon. Adigun stated.

She offered prayers for the repose of his soul, asking God to grant him eternal rest and to continually comfort his family and loved ones. Hon. Adigun concluded by affirming that though deeply missed, Senator Ajimobi’s legacy will forever live on in the annals of Oyo State’s history.

Happy posthumous birthday, Your Excellency. You are gone, but you will never be forgotten.
