Ogbomoso-Born Busayo Oladele Shines, Crowned Miss Elegant at Miss Oyo State Pageant 2025

The Miss Oyo State 2025 beauty pageant has successfully come to a close yesterday at Jogor Centre, Ringroad Ibadan, with the contestant representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency emerging as the overall winner from a competitive pool of 18 outstanding contestants.

Although the coveted crown went to Ibadan North, Ogbomoso proudly celebrated a major breakthrough as its representative, Queen Busayo Oladele Serah, Miss Ogbomoso 2024, emerged among the seven award recipients, clinching the prestigious title of “Most Elegant Contestant 2025.”

Busayo’s award was in recognition of her exceptional elegance, confidence, stage presence, and outstanding performance, which clearly set her apart throughout the competition. She contested with remarkable passion, enthusiasm, and determination, qualities that were duly acknowledged by the panel of judges.

The awards presented at the event included:

1. Winner
2. First Runner-Up
3. Third Place
4. Fourth Place
5. Most Elegant Contestant 2025
6. Most Cute Contestant 2025, and
7. Most Intellectual Contestant 2025

Speaking with journalists at the end of the competition, Joshua Ojo Akin, Member representing Oriire State Constituency at the Oyo State Youth Parliament and a strong supporter of Busayo, expressed deep confidence in her capacity and future prospects.

Joshua noted that from his conversation with Busayo after the Ibadan North contestant was announced winner, she appeared calm, focused, and unbothered by not clinching the crown. According to him, Busayo remains confident and optimistic, expressing her readiness to take on even bigger challenges, including the Miss Nigeria competition, as she continues to demonstrate a strong winning spirit, self-belief, and confidence.

He further emphasized that all contestants, including the eventual winners, were exceptionally brilliant, judging from their impressive performances witnessed by a large audience at the event.

“I do not regret supporting Busayo,”
Joshua stated.

“In fact, I am even more committed to supporting her going forward. A young lady with such burning passion, resilience, and winning spirit deserves all the encouragement she can get. With the right support, her achievements are limitless. She is wonderfully and incredibly unstoppable.”

Busayo received massive support from youth leaders and stakeholders across her constituency and beyond. Notable Youth/Students’ Leaders supporters present at the event included Ajadi Isaac, Ajala Oluwaseun, Ajadi Victoria, Ajani Damilola, and many others from Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire Federal Constituency, as well as supporters outside her constituency.

Busayo Oladele Molayo Serah, a graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) and an indigene of Ogbomoso North Local Government, is known for her boldness, courage, and fearlessness. These qualities previously earned her the crown of Miss Ogbomoso 2024, and they continue to define her journey as a rising figure in the pageantry world.

Her emergence as Most Elegant Contestant 2025, marks another significant milestone in her growing career and signals even greater achievements ahead.
