Ogbomoso North Assembly Hopeful, Hon. Sayo Owolabi Celebrates Christmas with Constituents, Shares cash gifts to over 200 Party members

In the spirit of the Yuletide season, the House of Assembly hopeful in Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. Sayo Owolabi, has spread goodwill and cheer among party members and constituents, as he celebrated Christmas with them and distributed cash gifts to at least 200 beneficiaries in his Constituency.
Hon. Owolabi, who was represented by Hon. Oyewole Raufu, popularly known as Erinloloko, while wishing the people of Ogbomoso North a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance, described the season as a time to show love, and strengthening bonds among humanity. He noted that the gesture was borne out of his commitment to the welfare of party members and constituents, irrespective of political affiliations.
As part of the outreach, Hon. Owolabi extended financial support to 10 persons in each of the 10 wards of Ogbomoso North Local Government Area. The initiative also covered several interest groups, non-partisan beneficiaries, and other constituents across the local government area.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Bukola Badmus, a formal APC local chairman and prominent APC leader in Ogbomoso North, commended Hon. Owolabi for his consistent support for party members. He described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that it complements the efforts of elected office holders, particularly the Senator and the House of Representatives member representing the Ogbomoso axis.
Also lending his voice, Alhaji Prince Wasiu Olukan, another notable APC leader in the local government, applauded Hon. Owolabi’s “giant strides” in ensuring that people feel the dividends of democracy at the grassroots. He emphasized that Hon. Owolabi’s actions are even more commendable given that he currently holds no governmental appointment.
Other party leaders, including Pa Atiba, the APC Local Chairman, Hon. Erinloloko, Alhaji Waheed, Hon. Alabi Tunji who is the party’s current Secretary, also praised the initiative. They described Hon. Owolabi as a committed party man and a compassionate leader whose actions reflect genuine concern for his people.
The Christmas outreach further reinforces Hon. Sayo Owolabi’s growing reputation as a grassroots-oriented politician, deeply connected to the needs of his constituents and dedicated to inclusive leadership in Ogbomoso North.
