APC Youth Leaders in Ogbomoso Zone Launch ALLISOJI Youth Vanguard, Mobilise Over 5,000 Supporters.

The five All Progressives Congress (APC) Local Government Youth Leaders in Ogbomoso Zone have held their inaugural meeting and launched the ALLISOJI Youth Vanguard, in a major show of youth mobilisation and political commitment across the zone.

The meeting, held at the Ogbomoso Township Hall on Tuesday September 1st, 2026, attracted over 5,000 youths from the five Local Government Areas that make up Ogbomoso Zone, with participants expressing their readiness to deepen grassroots mobilisation for the APC.

The gathering was attended by several notable political leaders and stakeholders, including Prince Wasiu Olukan, Hon. Obadoba, Hon. Agbademo, Alh Yekeen Wonuola and Hon. Chief Segun Dokun Odebunmi Bunvic, among others.

Speaking at the event, the Surulere Local Government APC Youth Leader, Comrade Gbenro Kayode Temitope (GKT), said the initiative was borne out of the determination of the youths to work for a change in governance in Oyo State.

According to him, the youths are determined to mobilise support for the APC and work towards the emergence of a government that will be responsive to the needs of the people.
“We want to send a bad government out of Oyo State and bring in a government of the people, a government that will be friendly to the people,” Comrade Gbenro said.

He stressed that youths must play an active role in shaping the political future of the state, urging members of the vanguard to remain committed to grassroots mobilisation.

Also speaking at the gathering, Prince Wasiu Olukan charged the youths not to relent in their political activities, urging them to work harder toward achieving their political objectives.

Prince Olukan called on the youths to intensify their grassroots mobilisation, saying they must work together to remove what he described as a government that has “paralysed Local Governments” in Oyo State.
He urged the youths to remain focused, united and committed, stressing that meaningful political change requires sustained mobilisation and active participation at the grassroots.

The highlight of the meeting was the formal launching of the ALLISOJI Youth Vanguard, which was performed by Hon. Chief Segun Dokun Odebunmi Bunvic.

In his remarks after the launch, Hon. Odebunmi charged the youths to take their mobilisation efforts to every level of the political structure, urging them to ensure effective grassroots mobilisation for the APC from top to bottom.

He also called for unity, dedication and active participation among the youth leaders, stressing that the strength of any political party depends largely on its grassroots structure and committed members.

The inaugural meeting and launch ended on a high note, with members of the newly inaugurated ALLISOJI Youth Vanguard pledging to strengthen APC’s grassroots presence across the five Local Government Areas of Ogbomoso Zone and mobilise more youths for the party.
