Oyo @ 50: Hon. Olusayo ‘Bibiire’ Congratulates Citizens, Ogbomoso South Residents
The Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful for Ogbomoso South Constituency, Hon. Daniel Olusayo popularly known as ‘Bibiire’, has congratulated the government and people of Oyo State on the celebration of the state’s 50th anniversary, describing the milestone as a proud moment of reflection, resilience, and renewed hope.
In a congratulatory message issued to mark Oyo State at 50, Hon. Bibiire commended the founding fathers of the state for their vision and sacrifices, noting that the journey of the Pacesetter State over the last five decades has been defined by courage, cultural pride, educational excellence, and the unbreakable spirit of its people.
According to him, the Golden Jubilee offers an opportunity not only to celebrate achievements but also to take stock of the challenges and recommit to building a more inclusive, prosperous, and united Oyo State.
“Oyo State at 50 is a celebration of our collective journey — from humble beginnings to a state that continues to lead by example in education, culture, and governance. It is a moment to honour those who laboured for our progress and to inspire the next generation to do even better,” Hon. Bibiire said.
He specifically extended warm greetings to the good people of Ogbomoso South, praising their resilience, enterprise, and consistent contributions to the development of the state, while reaffirming his commitment to quality representation, people-centred leadership, and sustainable development at the grassroots.
Hon. Bibiire also urged citizens, particularly the youth, to see the anniversary as a call to action — to uphold unity, peace, and active participation in shaping the future of Oyo State.
He concluded by wishing Oyo State many more years of progress, stability, and greatness.
“As we celebrate 50 years of Oyo State, may the next chapter bring deeper development, greater opportunities, and shared prosperity for all,” he added.
