Hon. Tolani Adigun Felicitates Muslims, Christians, Urges Peace, Compassion During Ramadan, Lent

Hon. Tolani, House of Assembly aspirant for Ibadan Southwest Constituency I ahead of the 2027 general election, has extended warm greetings to Muslim and Christian faithful as they observe the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
In a goodwill message to residents of Ibadan Southwest and the good people of Oyo State, the aspirant described Ramadan and Lent as significant periods of spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to faith, urging adherents to use the seasons to promote peace, unity, and love within their communities.
Hon. Tolani noted that both Ramadan and Lent symbolize self-discipline, compassion for humanity, and devotion to God, emphasizing that the shared values of the two religious observances provide an opportunity for Nigerians to strengthen mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.
She encouraged Muslims observing the holy month of Ramadan to remain steadfast in prayers, charity, and devotion, while also calling on Christians observing Lent to embrace its lessons of sacrifice, repentance, and service to humanity.
“These sacred periods remind us of the importance of faith, love, and selflessness. As we observe Ramadan and Lent, let us pray for peace, unity, and progress in our communities and across our nation,” she stated.
The House of Assembly hopeful further urged residents to pray for the continued development of Ibadan, the progress of Oyo State, and the peace and stability of Nigeria. She stressed the need for collective responsibility, tolerance, and mutual respect among citizens, regardless of religious or ethnic differences.
Hon. Tolani also reaffirmed her commitment to people-oriented leadership, youth empowerment, and sustainable development in Ibadan Southwest Constituency I, pledging to continue engaging with the people and supporting initiatives that improve their welfare.
She concluded by wishing all Muslim and Christian faithful a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and Lenten season, praying that the period brings renewed hope, divine blessings, and lasting peace to every home and the nation at large.
