True Worshippers Church Celebrates 10 Years, Launches Free Digital Training for Youths

Ogbomoso, Oyo State — April 26, 2026
True Worshippers Church, Ogbomoso, has announced plans to commemorate its 10th anniversary with a series of spiritual and community-focused programmes scheduled to begin on May 1, 2026.
The Lead Pastor, Pastor Niyi Adebayo, disclosed this on Sunday during a press conference held at Amazing Grace Garden, Oke-Aanu, Ogbomoso, where he described the forthcoming anniversary as a celebration of “10 years of grace, growth, and impact.”
Adebayo explained that the church, founded on May 1, 2016, started at Jesu O Seun House in the POAT area of Ogbomoso following what he described as a divine mandate after years of ministerial experience spanning campus evangelism, interdenominational prayer movements, and pastoral service within the Anglican Communion.
He noted that over the years, the church has focused on preaching, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, and community development, guided by its mission to evangelize and disciple believers.
“Our mandate is to turn an audience into an army of God using the 4 Fs approach—Finding, Fetching, Feeding, and Fielding,” he said.
Reflecting on the journey so far, the cleric acknowledged that the ministry has faced challenges but has remained resilient through what he described as divine grace and support.
As part of activities marking the anniversary, the church also unveiled a new community initiative aimed at training students in digital literacy. According to Adebayo, the programme, which will commence next week in partnership with a non-governmental organisation, is expected to train no fewer than 1,500 students within one year.
He added that the initiative would begin with five government-owned secondary schools in collaboration with the Oyo State Ministry of Education, with the church providing laptops and other digital tools for the training.
The pastor further highlighted past social intervention efforts of the church, including support programmes for widows, commercial motorcyclists, and other vulnerable groups through initiatives such as the “Ogbomoso Jesus Market.”
He stated that the church aims to deepen its impact in the next decade through expanded evangelism, stronger discipleship structures, and increased community service.
Programmes lined up for the anniversary include a lecture and celebration service on May 1, a special prayer programme on May 2, a thanksgiving service on May 3, and a miracle rally on May 4, alongside outreach activities scheduled for the following days.
Adebayo called on members, partners, and the general public, including those in the diaspora, to participate in the events and support the church’s mission.
He also expressed appreciation to ministers, church workers, members, and supporters who have contributed to the growth of the church over the years.
The anniversary celebration is open to the public, with online participation options available for those unable to attend physically.
